Food and Beverages Manager/ Front of house
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Front of House Manager with a background in hospitality, and food and beverage management, to join a well established country house hotel situated in the Peak District. This role will suit someone who has an appreciation for the boutique style of hotel, or someone who would like to move away from a big hotel chain. <br><br>Main duties will include: <br><br>• Carrying out the Duty Manager shift, being responsible for the smooth running of the hotel; including reservations, phone enquiries, answering emails and any other general administration duties. <br><br>• You will supervise service in the hotel restaurant and adjoining pub restaurant and expected to pitch in where needed. <br><br>• You will need to have previous knowledge of food and beverage management. <br><br>• You will have a good standard of IT literacy in Microsoft Office. <br><br>The hotel restaurants have been awarded a Rosette for their quality and service. The successful candidate will need to have excellent customer service skills and a willingness to work with the team to continue to provide this high standard of service and the ability to work under pressure is essential. <br><br>Working hours can start from as early as 7am and, dependant on your shift pattern can finish at approximately 1am. There is a management room available should you wish to stay the night after you have finished the late shift. <br><br>The hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment and this role would be ideal for someone who wants to input some of their own personality into the establishment. <br><br>Adecco are and equal opportunities employer and are acting in the capacity of an employment agency
