Mechanical Engineering Manager / Mechanical Plant Manager



Highly profitable market leading manufacturing group supplying into a world wide customer base require an engineer as part of their technical management function.

Qualified to HNC level in Mechanical engineering or similar the candidate will be responsible for the implementation of mechanical strategies including improvements to downtime targets, project based work and the development of engineers on shift. The position will also require an element of hands on work as and when required, therefore a background within a manufacturing maintenance is a prerequisite.

You will also have experience within a heavy engineering environment as well as the ability to manage a team of engineers in line with the engineering needs of the organisation.

The position also offers a structured career path for a dedicated and competent engineer in a company focused on the development of its staff.
