Electrical Engineer



Providing electrical engineering support across all presses, binders and other departments as and when necessary either through planned or reactive maintenance. This is a fabulous chance to join an international, fast paced production company to complete tasks to support the site's maintenance strategy and targets.



Ensure the work undertaken meets the quality standards to required schedule/deadline

Liaising with production and planning personnel to minimise the disruption caused by maintenance activities

Collaborating with third-party engineering and building contractors

Providing accurate information on the causes of failures, the corrective actions taken and the downtime incurred

Supporting process and performance improvement initiatives in plant operations

Ensuring the use of engineering spares and engineering consumables is accurately recorded

Complying with Health & Safety Policy, procedure and legislation and Safe systems of work

Leading by example by positively contributing to improving health & safety as well as improving housekeeping



Contributing to planned maintenance within the factory

Other duties necessary to ensure production and quality targets are met



Shift patterns 5 shift system (4 night shifts, 3 off, 3 day shifts, 1 off, 3 night shifts, 3 off, 4 day shifts, 14 off.

Holidays 12 days (6 summer, 6 winter) (In addition 14 days off every 3 weeks)

Hours 7 am - 7 pm & 7 pm - 7 am (average 36 hrs per week)
