Website Developer
This creative digital design agency are offering a great opportunity for a well-rounded individual to join its successful, expanding, friendly team as a Website Developer to work on a wide variety of websites in a pleasant atmosphere of creativity, direction and focus.
We are looking for an experienced, capable, responsible, thoughtful and most importantly, a creative Website Developer with a minimum of 2 years’ commercial experience.
Website Developer:
You must be well organised, open minded individual who is receptive to the constantly changing nature of the internet and who is neat, thorough and accurate with a variety of practical coding skills.
We require a highly competent developer with PHP programming skills to aid in the development and implementation of a suite of web-based products.
They must have extensive knowledge of PHP and an understanding of AJAX, HTML and CSS. Experience working with Apache, MySQL and Linux would be an advantage.
They will be expected to research, plan, develop logic code, test and deploy several web projects with minimal assistance.
You should know how to build a PHP web application from the ground up, as well as modify and build on existing code.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To produce websites to full and highly specified briefs.
To produce website pages, navigation systems, style sheets and templates in an efficient and thoughtful manner that maximises the use of clients’ time.
To update and manage websites and their backups through a versioning system or though ftp access to this company’s web servers.
To stay abreast of changes to internet disciplines and in particular new practices in browser compliance, SEO, usability and emergent technologies.
To manage own work timesheets and keep projects on schedule.
Any other duties relevant to the production of clients’ web sites.
The salary bracket for this Website Developer role is £23,000 depending on experience. This company is based in Sheffield. This is an opportunity not to be missed!
